These clients had bought a new home to accommodate their growing family. They wanted to update all their living area to a more modern contemporary feel and ask us to help us reconfigure the areas and decide what they really needed for their lifestyle now the kids were getting a little older.
We felt that in a home that has all hard glossy features such as tiles and a two pac kitchen it needed some natural elements to warm up the space. The use of timber in the table and sideboard plus leather seats have created a more cosy feel in what was a cold area. We helped the clients choose an original artwork they love and added the lamp, encouraging them to use more mood lighting at night than a bank of overheads.
We created a new seating area next to the kitchen to compliment the owners silver mirror and the addition of a new grey modular sofa, rug and some indoor plants completed the look. The clients also had a beautiful range of vases and decorative items hiding away because they didn't know what to do with them, they are now out and proud!
